Climb8 is looking for citizen scientists, students of science and scientists interested in collecting scientific information about the impact of climate change on the Australian Alps.
We will be looking at short and long term impacts on ecology, communities, businesses and recreational use of the alps.
Over the next 14 months we will be surveying alpine user groups including sports, recreation, clubs, local communities, businesses and conservationists to get a bigger picture of how climate change is impacting human activity in the mountains, awareness and adaptation.
Through the analysis of past and current scientific research, our own observations and mapping we will share what we find in a format accessible and understandable for everyone.
If you would like to be part of the Climb8 Science Team please contact me.
Everyone on our Research team is invited to join the expedition for any of the sections of Climb8 if you have some backcountry touring experience.
